UCB, FSIBL mOrts and PBL Cyber Sentinel top the 4th National FinCII Cyber Drill
National level cyber drill started from December 12, 2020. United Commercial Bank's team emerged as the best of the best this year in this regular cyber drill conducted with professional cyber armies of telcos, banks, MFS, financial institutions and government and private sector. They have reached the top by getting 217 marks out of a total of 800 marks. FSIBL mOrts, a team of Fast Security Islami Bank Plc, came second with 207 marks. PBL Cyber Sentinel of Prime Bank Limited is in the third position by getting 185 marks.
The winning UCBL members are Debashish Pal, Mehdi Hasan Faisal, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Pankaj Kumar Mandal and Wahidur Rahman Shikder.
Morts (mOrts) – The five members of the FSIBL team are – Mostafizur Rahman, Mohammad Abdul Monem, Moinuddin Quader Al Arabi, Bappi Sarkar and Sheikh Tauhidul Haque.
Besides, PBL Cyber Sentinel members are Shayla Sharmin, Ajmal Hossain Azad, Gazi Asif Mohammad Islam, Hasin Ashraf Rana and Md. Mahmudul Hasan Avi.
In the final competition, the names of the top 10 FinCII teams of the country were announced at around 5:30 PM. The top three teams are followed by Mutual Trust Bank's Cyber Savvy, Union Bank Limited's UBL Eagle, Bangladesh Bank Cyber Team, Shahjalal Islami Bank Cyber Team, Dhaka Bank Limited's Cyber Force, Sonali Bank's Team Heads and Mercantile Bank's MBL Legion.
The FinCII National Cyber Drill started at 10 am and ended at 4 pm at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) campus in Mirpur in the capital on Saturday. 30 teams who qualified online participated in this competition.
Computer Incident Response Team BGD e-GOV CIRT of ICT Divison regularly organizes this drill every year. Earlier, Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) selected 30 teams out of 65 teams from affiliated organizations and financial institutions through an online competition for the final competition on October 7 (Saturday).
